Tiffany & Co Infinity Pendant Necklace in Rubedo on a 16inch double chain (also Rubedo). The rubedo metal looks like rose gold in person (the photos don’t capture it as well). The short story is: my heart was broken by the man I loved when he ended things with me as he “couldn’t commit in the long-term.” Fast-forward six months, just as I’m finally feeling like I”m ready to start dating again and actually feel like pre-him self, he contacts me out of the blue and says that he wants to get back together with me. After having six months to think about all the horrible things he said/did to me, I tell him that I’m not interested. He ignores me and takes a plane to come to my new apartment on the other side of the country and presents me with this necklace as proof of his “everlasting love to me”, which he left on my doorstep after I refused to see him. Funny how it’s only “everlasting” after he’s broken up with me and I’ve started to move on. I’ve never worn the necklace (even though it’s so pretty) because I feel as though it would be a symbol of me accepting his affection.
I’ll be putting the money towards my student loan debt!
