The Rules
For Sellers & Buyers:
- You must own it
- No pets or alive things
- Be accurate with your description
- Be honest about its condition and any defects
- No profanities in the description and please no real names!
- Sellers must send items to the buyer within a week of purchase
- Buyers must pay for the item immediately
For Story-Tellers:
- No names – make them up please
- Be fair – this isn’t the place for full-blown revenge
- Be kind to the community – everyone’s got enough to deal with so give useful and friendly advice
- No profanities – let’s keep it clean folks
- No dishing out other people’s personal info – numbers, addresses, phobias
So, now you know the rules, we must tell you that we reserve the right to block and remove any account or listing that breaks the rules.
User Agreement
This website is provided by Rocketocracy Inc or “we” for the private use by individuals to buy, sell, trade and negotiate the purchase and sale of goods with other individuals (each, a “User”). Its use is subject to the following terms (the “Agreement”):
1. Fees and charges
1.1. Users are not charged to register with ROCKETOCRACY INC, or to view or make offers on items on the website.
1.2. A $5.00 fee is payable by the seller to ROCKETOACRACY INC, for each ‘featured’ item listed. The fee will be payable upon sale of the item and be deducted automatically from the seller’s account. The fee is not refundable if the sale is reversed and the cost of the item refunded to the buyer.
2. Offering items for sale
2.1. You shall not list or offer for sale any item that is illegal to sell under any applicable law, statute, ordinance, or regulation.
2.2. You shall not offer live animals for sale.
2.3. You shall not post any personal information, including full names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses etc. in a listing.
2.4. You must have the legal authority to sell the goods that You are listing for sale on the website. You must provide a background story and describe Your item and all terms of sale in Your listing. Such background story and description must be accurate.
2.5. You may retract an offer to sell made by you at any time prior to its acceptance.
2.6. You shall not post any content that is libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, or threatening.
2.7. If another User accepts Your offer to sell an item listed by You:
2.7.1. You are responsible for answering any of their questions in an accurate and timely manner
2.7.2. You shall post the item to the purchaser within five working days of receipt of payment; and
3. Purchasing items for sale
3.1. If You accept an offer for sale of an item, You are obligated to complete the transaction with the other party unless:
3.1.1. the transaction is prohibited by law or this Agreement; or
3.1.2. the seller materially modifies the terms and conditions of the seller’s offer.
4. Liability
4.1. The content of this website is provided as an open marketplace for Users to buy, sell, trade and negotiate the purchase and sale of goods with other users (“Transactions”). We are not a party to any such Transactions and are not under any duty to enforce the obligations arising from Transactions agreed between Users.
4.2. In the event that You have a dispute with one or more Users, You release ROCKETOCRACY INC and (as applicable) its officers, directors, employees, agents, parents, subsidiaries, partners and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
4.3. We are not under any duty to check the accuracy of the content of the website nor to make the website available. We reserve the right to refuse access to, or use of, the website to anyone, at any time, in our sole discretion.
4.4. We are not under any duty to confirm the identity, credibility, bank details or contact details of any User. You are encouraged to communicate directly with potential buyers or sellers through the features available on the website. Any known or suspected fraudulent activity should be reported by email addressed to the Never Liked It Anyway team immediately at yoohoo@neverlikeditanyway.com
4.5. We exclude all liability which might arise from your use or reliance on the content of the website save to the extent such liability arises from our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or from any death or personal injury that arises due to our negligence.
4.6. We do not accept any responsibility for any third party website linked to from this website.
5. Use of Cookies
5.1. We will place the following cookies on your computer:
5.1.1.Google Analytics – We use Google Analytics cookies to analyze the use of this website and to generate statistical and other information about such use. The information generated is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information. Google’s privacy policy is available here google.com/privacypolicy.html
5.1.2. We use basic cookies to access information when a user signs-in and to capture and store IP addresses on the database when a user posts an ad. The database does not contain cookies.
5.1.3. We use cookies when a user opts to “remember me” when signing in.

9.1. These terms and all issues regarding this website are governed by New York State law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York State courts.
