Southern Live Oak Acorn Necklace cast in Sterling Silver with Freshwater Pearl
“Hand picked from the coast of Georgia, this pendant is cast in sterling silver from a mold made DIRECTLY from an actual acorn cap, not carved from wax. After casting, the acorn cap is hand finished, hand polished, sealed with a special sealant that deters tarnish, and finally hand set with a 10mm freshwater pearl. No detail has been overlooked, right down to the sterling ‘knob’ at the end of the pearl nut. Every single one of these pieces is basically a ONE OF A KIND, as they are hand finished and hand set by me in my studio. These are not pieces assembled from purchased parts.”

The pearl was to represent our eternal love. Instead, now it only represents my eternal awareness that a year later he would sleep with my best friend. While we were still together. After breaking up with me over text while I was in a 12 hour different time zone, I learned that lovely information a couple weeks later. Needless to say- the only thing left I want form him is his stuff out of my life.
