“Promise” ring from my ex-boyfriend. Not really sure what it actually meant. We were together for 3 and half years and broke up a little over 3 years ago. I was young and with him for far too long. He didn’t treat me right and it took me a long time and a good friend to understand. I also got tired of competing with his sister for attention… strange dynamic. I meant to sell it a long time ago but got lost in the shuffle. This was one of several pieces of jewelry he gave me. He was super not creative when it came to gift-giving. at the end of 3 years, I ended up with 3 rings and 2 necklaces, and I don’t even like jewelry that much. It is a beautiful ring, so it deserves a better home.
I have student loans to pay off. Also might use it to help pay for travel with my current, incredible boyfriend (perhaps future husband).
