He was a jerk. He never tried to understand how I felt in our many fights, never supported me, and told me he loved me but didn’t do a damn thing to show it. Major qualities: insecure, immature and selfish. Clearly, I can’t wear the necklace.
I’ll either use the money to help with my bills at my new apartment, which I got to be close to my new dream job that he was never happy for me about, OR to buy a similar bracelet to the one my mom gave me that I forgot at his house and he refused to give back to me.
