Native Alaskan Silver Cuff. I’m from Alaska and it’s very popular for people to wear cuffs based on their favorite native animals (ravens, orcas, etc). It was engraved by a local artist named Andrew Tripp and it is 3/8th of an inch and adjustable. Sterling Silver.
My ex bought me this on our one year anniversary. He said that he got the killer whale design because ‘I’m a killer’, which, I guess was thoughtful in it’s own way, but also a subtle reminder that I was a bitch – a huge issue in our relationship. I wore it dutifully for a while because I love these cuffs and the design is beautiful. But now that we broke up, I don’t need a daily reminder of how much of a B word I was :) I hope someone else can love it and display their ‘killer instinct’ proudly.
