Size 8 Engagement ring (no wedding band) in a vintage style that is 14K white gold. It has a raised 1.01 Carat Kaleidoscope diamond with two smaller diamonds on the sides in the band. The diamond is round modified brilliant, G, I2. It has been worn for 18 months with very few minor scratches on the bottom of the band (from normal wear). I have all the paperwork, including the appraisal documentation.
I found out after we moved 3,000 miles away so I could start my PhD program that my husband was cheating on me with someone AND had been for 4 years. We separated but decided to try counseling. After a year, we decided to get back together and continue to work on our marriage. So, he bought me a new wedding ring. Unfortunately, it was a “bandaid” and we just couldn’t make it work. We divorced in February after 13 years of marriage (lucky, huh?!).
I’m starting over. :) I just graduated with my PhD and am moving this summer to assume my first position as a professor! So, I am going to use the money to help put a down payment on a new house. Something cute and affordable just for me! I haven’t been alone for a long time and look forward to repairing my soul in this new place.
