Q: Should you date co-workers even if they don’t work in the same department?
A: The quick answer to this is no. It’s very risky especially if things don’t work out. You have the chance of running into that person every day and you would more than likely be not only uncomfortable but also miserable if things didn’t work out the way you had planned. Now on the other hand this all depends on how serious you are about your job and your co-worker. If it’s a job that you plan on remaining at for a long period of time, then absolutely not. However, if you are into this co-worker more than your position then that’s completely your call. Once again just think about the consequences if things don’t work out and you still work there. Who wants to have to watch their every move at work, a place where they spend more time then they even do at home. Good luck!
