This week, our questions came to us from “Miss-Ex Factor”. I think we’ve all been in this situation one time or another.
Miss Ex Factor:
Q: How long should you wait to hang out, just as friends, with your Ex if it did not end on a bad note?
A: An Ex is an Ex for a reason, let’s be real here, you’ve [probably] seen each other naked! A friendship, or should I say a real friendship is out the window, whether you want to believe it or not, especially if either one of you starts dating someone else. As long as both of you are single, aka not looking for anything serious, you can still remain in each others lives, but I don’t think it’s the best idea. The relationship didn’t work out for a reason and having that person around, even though you are comfortable with them, is honestly preventing you from letting anyone new into your life. This is hindering you from finding a potential someone that could turn into a relationship. Think about it, but if you are at a place in your life where you feel as you need your Ex there, just make sure it is not out of loneliness. Post break up truly is the best time to find yourself and decide what it is that you want in your life, don’t let that get ruined by the Ex Factor. Good luck!
