There is pearl and glass bead detailing over the whole gown, and a small pearl detailed daisy button is sewn on the back to allow for bustling of the gown so you can dance the night away without tripping over your train! Worn only once and dry-cleaned once — has been in storage ever since.
The year was 2009. The month was June. I made the mistake of marrying a man I didn’t love and wasn’t entirely sure I even liked all that much. Five years and three months later we realized we weren’t fooling anyone and that married just wasn’t what we wanted to be anymore. We’d grown up and apart (that’s what can happen when you marry in your early 20s), and knew we would be better as friends than we could ever be as husband and wife.
