He dumped me in a text message at 2 am. He said he “needed to be alone”. But for us, that was normal. We take a day here and there to gather our thoughts and then are good. I didn’t even realize we were broken up until a couple days later…After a couple days, I said I was going to call so that we could talk, he said that he didn’t think that would be a very good idea. When I asked why, he said it’d make this break up even harder. I asked if we were breaking up and he was like,”Um. I broke up with you two days ago. I didn’t even realize we were broken up until a couple days later… He wants to be alone to “focus on school” but hopes to date in the future and wants us to be friends in the mean time.
