He emotionally cheated on me, but tried to blame my insecurities on our problems when we were still together. I couldn’t handle the way he was treating me anymore, so I broke up with him. Eventually he finally confessed that he was emotionally invested in someone else, which ended up to be his now wife . . . I am extremely happy for them and we are trying to be friends. We share custody of our dog and he pays pet support . . . yeah that can be a thing if you want it to be.
