I tried talking to him over and over but he was only concerned with his needs first and was only able to give the time and energy into the relationship when it was ‘ convient ‘ for him. I tried over and over and never asked a lot. I always picked up the pieces after him between finances, carrying for our daughter, and our relationship. But i gave up trying. .. it crumbled fast after that.. how could it worked when no one was trying to make it work. I asked him whether he wanted to try one last time or for me to walk away.. he said walk away. . I did and quickly feel in lust with one of his friends (we barely knew each other prior) .. Then he decided he wanted me back.. i left the new guy. .. feel back in the same routines and realized exactly why I left him.
