We were dating for almost 2 years, We broke up the day after Valentines day February 15th of this year.
When I found out that he had gotten engaged to someone that was not me. It was a heart shattering experience him being my first boyfriend. It was to good to be true he treated me very kindly and always respected me, until i found out his betrayal. He was supposed to be gone for just 12 days to a cousins wedding in India, When instead he got engaged. We came from different backgrounds, culture, religion, and customs. Of course there were red flags when one day i was at his friends house with him and his ex girlfriend confronted him saying he was fucking her and me at the same time, At that time I was done and broke up with him. Totally my bad for getting back together with him. But I thought love would defeat all the odds and he would be the one I would spend my life with. I found out he was engaged via facebook when he was tagged with the women he had gotten engaged to. In the tagged photo they were exchanging rings as a commitment to be married to each other in Sikhs culture with all of their family in attendance mind you me and him never met each others family even though we dated 2 years. I was devastated and the only thing he told me through messenger was that he was sorry. I blocked him on all social media and his number.
