I am looking to sell my diamond engagement ring and matching wedding band. The engagement ring features the center stone set in a 4-prong crown mounting sided by cluster of 3 yellow diamonds set in yellow gold mountings. Each side of the cathedral shank is pave set with three rows of 8 diamonds. The ring size is 3.25. This description is directly from the jeweler who is also South African ;).
I got married in South Africa (SA)…a home of diamond treasures and it was a destination wedding of sorts so the divorce was bitter sweet. My spouse and I would return to SA to see family there every 2 years, see our beloved lions in the safari parks and the Great White sharks in Cape Town. After my gorgeous ring, I loved my animals, esp. my Great White sharks who are fierce, powerful, beautiful creatures in their own right. My husband left me for another woman after being married to me for many, many many years.
If I could write back time, I think I would have had better luck if I had married a heroic yet compassionate fella who also loved sharks as much as I do, had delicious South African cuisine served for the wedding, and the lions would be our bodyguards at the honeymoon ;). My rings do fall into last place now but ironically, the diamonds still shine brightly.
I really want to leverage the money earned from the sale to first see my 92 year-old granny who resides overseas as her health has declined terribly. She is my last living grand-parent so I would like to spend some time with her and then take a vacation for me personally. I haven’t traveled anywhere since the divorce because divorces are expensive and they wreck you emotionally and physically :(. If I I can travel, I would love to reunite with my Great White sharks in South Africa for shark cage diving and then for some good South African food.
