I’m Catholic, and my religion is really important to me. When we started dating I knew his dad was Muslim and his mom was Catholic, and I thought he was Catholic too. Turns out, he called himself “half Muslim, half Catholic”. Okayyyyy. So we dated for about a year. Then he tells me he doesn’t really have any religion. That was a really big shock. Things get kinda rough but we promise to make it work. We finally break up after 1 year and 4 months because we couldn’t agree on how to raise our kids. We were too different.
