My now ex-boyfriend was my first boyfriend and he was pretty much my first everything and I seriously thought he was the one. However, he turned out to be a lying deadbeat. Around the time of my birthday, he told me that he hasn’t been going to school at all for 2 years and I’ve never knew. He always had me thinking that he was going to school when in reality he was doing absolutely nothing except kicking back. I was fine with him not wanting to get job and not wanting to drive, but not attending school at all and lying to me about it, that was the last straw for me. Ever since then, I wasn’t able to trust him anymore and my future visions of me and him were pretty much destroyed. I tried to get him to change into the man i thought he was and try to believe in him, but it seems that no matter what I did to try to save our relationship,nothing changed and as time went by I was falling out of love with him. He promised me he will man up and change for the better by growing up, but it was easier said then done i guess you can say for him. I tried so hard to get him to change that way the love and trust that I had for him will come back but I faced reality that I don’t think he’s the right guy for me. So on the day of our break up, we did a list of pros and cons of the relationship and there were more cons than pros and I was emotionally devastated when I finally called it quits. After the break-up, I soon found out that he was continuing his lying ways by having my now ex-friends turn against me when he didn’t tell them the part about what he did to me, which was lied to me about school and still continue to lie to me after that. I truly hope that someday he’ll learn, even if it’s the harshest way impossible.
