My best girl friend from work, Katie, had a best guy friend from college, Matt. One night at a party Matt & I met and the chemistry was explosive. I thought Katie would be happy but instead she told me that Matt is horrible with girls and that I should stay clear. Nonetheless, we got together and had an amazing month. Suddenly one day Matt abruptly stopped talking to me and vanished. I could not understand and Katie just said “I warned you”. A year later, I bumped into Matt’s flatmate at a party. He told me that Katie had told Matt that I had been messing around with lots of other guys behind his back and found it funny. This was completely untrue and I was horrified
that she would spread these lies. I didn’t know what to do at first. But now I’ve thought about it a lot and have decided I’m going to email Matt to tell him the truth even if it means losing Katie….I’ve written the email, I’m just too nervous to send it!
