On the Finding Cupid airwaves a few weeks ago, we had the incredible Adriana Arreguin on as a special guest. She’s an insanely talented make up artist and has an inspiring energy that makes you want to be your best self. I was lucky enough to get a makeover and honestly, couldn’t believe the transformation. I looked – and felt – like a different person. Here’s what she had to say about all things love, breakups and moving on.
What’s the best gift you ever got?
The best gift I ever got was my favorite perfume, Mademoiselle by Chanel from an ex boyfriend, I got rid of the boyfriend but kept the perfume.
What’s the worst gift you ever got?
Hmmm, I can’t say I’ve ever gotten something I didn’t like .
What’s you advice for all things love, sex and dating?
Through many years of trial and error, dating all walks of life, the consistent trend I have found is respect and value yourself or no man will. You set the tone for the relationship and how he treats you.
What’s your go to pick me up?
False lashes and a good mascara always makes me feel better and they make me look awake and refreshed. I recommend Chanel Le volume mascara, it’s the bomb.com!
Tell us about your first heartbreak…
It was my boyfriend of 5 years. We were together from the ages of 14-19 … we were way too young to be in a serious relationship but at the time I was in love and I thought he was too. Turns out he was cheating on me and he ended up breaking it off with me. Two weeks later he came-a-calling and at that point I didn’t want him back . Sianora, sucka!
Tell us about a time you Bounced Back better than ever
It had to have been when I broke it off with a boyfriend and lost tons of weight and looked hotter than ever! I bounced back with a Vengeance!
