With the recent breaking news that the Ringling Bros, one of the biggest circuses around, is eliminating elephants from their acts, we wanted to share with you another way to contribute to the safety of these adorable creatures! We recently stumbled across Elepants (yes that’s spelled right), these adorable cotton pants patterned in cute elephants in multiple colors. With each purchase of Elepants, $2 from each pair will be donated to The Save Elephant Foundation. Straight from Elepants’ website, “The Save Elephant Foundation works everyday to keep Thai Elephants in their natural habitat. No riding, painting, or chains for these Elephants. Donations go directly towards keeping Elephants in a compassionate community with medical care, proper food, and land for them to walk free 24 hours a day.” Elepants are neither partners nor affiliates of the Save Elephant Foundation. Nate, the founder, is “a former novice monk, a Buddhist, a traveler, a seller of pants.”
Whether you’re going to relax on the couch, do some yoga, go on a long flight, or whatever the chill activity may be, these pants will definitely make you stand out. So why not buy a pair and help the Thai Elephants? You probably wasted countless dollars on your last ex, so $15 for a pair of pants and contributing to saving these gentle giants will certainly be more worth the money.
