If you live in a city or remotely close to one, you’ve gotten at least one parking ticket in your life (and probably your fair share of bad hookups, too). It’s really not a fun time, just like bad sex. So what similarities do they have? Just read on to see.
It seemed convenient at the time, but was it really worth it to run into that one store quickly? In the here and now, the impulse decision was risky and fun. But now you know the truth. Try to stick to what you know, even if it may take a little longer.
It’s just annoying. Why?! Usually you’re a rational person who makes good decisions, and you know better. After the situation you’ve gotten yourself into, you know that you were just desperate to park it somewhere, it simply wasn’t worth it. You would’ve been better off staying home..in your own bed..by yourself (and maybe a little battery operated help).
You try to get out of it, but once it’s happening, you need to just ride it out (get it). It may take a bit to realize that this just isn’t going great, but once it’s there, there’s no turning back. Just drive away as soon as possible, or pretend to fall asleep (but not while driving).
You keep getting reminders of it. Ok, you get it, it’s unpaid yet—can’t the past stay in the past?! Can’t this guy stop texting after one bad random hookup?? You just want to live your life.
It stays on your record. You try to not tell anyone but your few besties, but they won’t let you forget. ~Never again.~
