Miss Always On The Go’s Question: What are some quick makeup tips for work?
Angelique’s Answer: When getting ready for work, when I don’t have a lot of time in general, for me the best thing is to use products that serve a dual purpose. Like using lip products on the cheeks, etc. Also, I feel like creams tend to be a bit quicker because you can apply them with your fingers. Definitely make sure to moisturize your face, my favorite product to use is Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre. Then, especially in the summer time, a light weight foundation. I love tinted moisturizers because they not only moisturize the face but provide a sheer coverage as well. At the moment I am addicted to OCC Tint by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. I love to apply it with a big kabuki brush. Next to add a pop of color I love to use Stila’s Convertible Color bases (color varies depending on my mood), but I love to apply it with my finger on my cheeks and lips. Next I finish off with some mascara, my favorite is Diorshow by Christian Dior, and that’s that (aside from brushing my brows and if they are not cooperating adding a bit of brow gel)! Sometimes if I want to look a little brighter, I will add a bit of highlight on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, bow of my lip and chin. My current addiction is MAC’s Mineralized Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. The best thing to do is to follow a routine every day. The more you practice the faster and easier it will become. Good luck!
