Miss Friendster Asks: How do I let a guy friend down nicely? I’m not interested in him romantically, but I really want to remain friends.
Angelique’s Answer: I think honesty is the best policy here. Wait until the right moment (one on one) and tell him what you have been thinking and how you are feeling. Express that you want to remain friends but will respect his decision either way. Give him time to respond, even if it’s not then & there, but make sure to actually honor his decision either way. It’s best to keep things out in the open, especially for the sake of the friendship. Good luck!
