Little’ Miss Glitter’s Question: How do I get glitter to stay on my eyes?
Angelique’s Answer: There are many different ways to apply glitter to the eye area. My favorite glitter is from MAC which works just like a pigment. You can apply traditionally using DUO (which is an adhesive used for lashes) on the lid area & sticking the glitter right on top. I must admit that I personally think that this feels a bit heavy. As an alternative I like to use eye drops, yes normal eye drops, on the lid then apply the glitter right over it. It doesn’t feel sticky at all and is very lightweight. You can even put the drops on a palette and mix the glitter in it before applying. Just make sure that the eyeshadow on your lid is already blended and your look is basically finished when you decide to apply the glitter because it’s difficult to change the look once it’s on. I use a flat synthetic eyeshadow brush to apply once my eyes are basically done but before mascara and lashes. The more the better! Have fun!!
