Miss Wings & Things Question: What is the best way to get the almost perfect wing eyeliner?
Angelique’s Answer: There are many different ways to achieve the “perfect” wing liner and every artist has their own technique. I personally like to start with the wings first.
This week’s question comes to us from Miss Wings & Things
See where your bottom lash line meets your top, that’s where you are going to want to flick up. They key to this is making sure the wings are going in the right direction, don’t concern yourself with the width or length just yet. You can manipulate the direction of the wings by using a q-tip and a bit of primer. Once you have the wings going in the right direction, then you can start filling in the line from the outer edge of the wing inward towards the inner corner of the eye. Try to go as slow as possible and layer upon layer that way you don’t go too thick on one side versus the other. Remember practice makes perfect so try to practice as much as you can! Tilt your head back as well while looking into the mirror, that tends to help as well. Good luck!
