This week’s question is all about cleaning make up off your face…we all know we SHOULD do it, but it doesnt always happen. Especially after a glass or ten of wine!
Little Miss Clean Freak’s Question: “What does leaving make up on your skin actually do and how should you properly remove it and care for your skin?”
Angelique’s Answer: Leaving makeup on your skin overnight can have different results on everyone depending on your skin type, but in general it’s best to remove it. Before going to bed it’s beneficial to remove all of the dirts and oils your skin has accumulated throughout the day. Removing the makeup will help to allow your skin to breathe. Taking care of your skin really works best with the three step process of cleanser, toner and moisturizer. A cleanser will help to remove the dirt and oils from your skin, toner will balance the pH level and minimize pores and moisturizer will provide hydration to the face. This three step process really helps with your skincare regimen. While I use different products and brands for each, one of my favorite lines for all three is Embryolisse. I use their cleanser, toner and moisturizer on myself and clients and really love all three!
