8 Hobbies To Share With Your Boyfriend

Do you want to deepen your relationship with your boyfriend? Sharing hobbies is one of the best ways to do so. But what if you’re soft jazz and your partner is more rock ‘n’ roll? It doesn’t matter, you can still find activities to enjoy side by side. With that in mind, here are eight hobbies you can share with your ride or die.

1. Take a Hike

Summer is here, and the weather is perfect for exploring the great outdoors. Why not reconnect with nature by going on a hike with your boyfriend? Doing so can boost your immune health, especially after the pandemic shutdowns. Researchers who study forest-bathing find a higher number of vital natural killer cells in those who spend time in the forest once a month or more.

2. Explore Your Fashion Sense

If the last time you and your man dressed up together was to attend their office costume party, why not frock up for the hell of it?!  Get Red Carpet-ready the easy way. Just deck him out in a custom-tailored suit while you put on that bridesmaid dress you thought you’d never wear for another occasion. Set the table with your best china and light some candles for an elegant evening that’s even better than dropping a bundle on a pricey restaurant.

3. Bicycle Built for Two

Biking is great exercise and also a great activity that you can share with your boyfriend. If you each have a ride, why not pull out a map and go and visit a place you’ve never been before? If you live near a tourist hotspot, you can even turn up the cheese, rent a tandem bike and sing that old tune about a bicycle built for two.

4. Hit a Strike

When was the last time you stepped foot in a batting cage? If you haven’t done so since junior high softball, why not try this hobby with your boyfriend? You can even get a group of friends together and make it a double- or triple-date?

5. Get a Birdie

Golfing combines the fun of the great outdoors with a test of your accuracy. . You don’t have to play all 18 holes if you find it too time-consuming. Hit up a 9-hole course when you’re pressed for time or purchase a bucket of balls at the pro shop and hone your skills on the driving range. If you don’t like the idea of investing in a set of clubs, you can always practice putting on a miniature golf course.

6. Name That Tune

Does your mate love to sing in the shower? Why not invite him to put his vocal cords to the test at a karaoke night? If you’re feeling particularly brave and have musical talent to share, hunt down an open mic night with your man. You can perform together or sit back and enjoy those brave enough to belt out a tune.

7. Test Your Smarts

Are you sure that you could outlast Ken Jennings if given a chance on Jeopardy? Why not put that big brain of yours to the test by getting yourself and your boyfriend involved in pub trivia?  If you get really good, you can also find live events where you compete for cash and prizes, while raising money for various charities.

8. Pick a Flick

It might take some time before the Hollywood film industry returns to normal. In the meantime, drive-in theaters are back with a vengeance. Why not dress up as if you lived in the 1950s and attend an old school theater just for fun. You can often rent a projector for free at your local library and recreate the drive-in experience in your backyard around the firepit.
