We met before he went into the firefighter’s academy of SF and he seemed like the perfect guy; liked to garden, was a great cook, very sweet and caring, amazing body, pretty hot… and nice. We saw each other all the time for about 3 months. Nightly text messages, calls, etc. It has to be said that I did mostly go out of my way to see him, but I still live at home so I didn’t think too much of it. He started his training. We had spoken about how busy he would be but that we could see each other every weekend. We were both happy to not rush anything. After a great weekend, 5 or so months into it, I didn’t hear from him for a full month. I didn’t want to seem pushy, I knew he was going to be really busy, but after a month I sent him a quick “thinking of you” text message. Didn’t hear back. After 3 months, he texted me back and said that “this” wasn’t going to work out. I had assumed as much, but was still really hurt that he broke up with me via text message AND after 3 months of no news. Yes, yes, I did do drive by’s his home, and prank call, but nothing ever came of it. =(
