My ex and I were super close, we did everything together and were each others best friend. He went away for college 3 hours away and said that he wanted to make it work. A month in, he joined a fraternity and started partying every weekend instead of coming to see me or letting me go there. He would even hang out with other girls alone, which I expressed my unhappiness about and he either ignored it or got annoyed with me. He started to kind of push me away and not tell me much, which hurt because we used to be so close. One weekend he was supposed to come home and I was super excited. About 2 hours before his train was supposed to arrive, I texted him asking what time I should be at his house. He called me, said he wasn’t coming home, he doesn’t love me anymore, and that if we were stay together any longer, he would probably end up cheating on me. This was 2 weeks before my birthday and Valentines Day. I haven’t heard from him since.
