"Build" the relathionship
Met him at a friend’s get together. We were drawn to each other. He made sure to make plans with me the very next day. He pursued me to the fullest. Went out of his way to see me. Went to my brothers going away party. Promised to do right by me to my friends. I fell head over heals. We was very good at making you trust him Then, he only wanted to see me if I drove to his house. He became very distant. He stopped texting. We stopped talking for about a month. Three days ago he shows up at a get together at my home. His excuse was he didn’t want to build the relationship further because he was busy with “work” . He acts like nothing ever happened and sweet talks me as usual. I havent heard from him since. Found out today he got fired from his job after being caught with pain pills that weren’t his and failing a drug test. Karma got him, but i’m still hurt. I finally let my gaurd down and got crushed.
