I am a 29 year-old recovering ex-bride. I met my wasband in 2007, and we married not long after in 2008. The marriage was revealed to me as a sham on New Years of 2009 just a few short minutes after the clock struck midnight (how conveniently dramatic). I've heard several different versions of how my marriage came to crumble; a few varying versions came directly from his mistress, and a couple came from my ex. From what I could gather, the affair between my wasband and his Las Vegas stripper mistress, Lauren (who was also married and had an only months-old infant), started shortly after our nuptials. Apparently they had been friends for some time, but decided to consummate their relationship on their shared birthday of September 29th (how romantic), just 5 short weeks after us being married. He traveled extensively for business, so I suspected nothing. But, I've heard they made quite a lovely couple. One of my own bridesmaids, his sister and brother, and his parents ALL knew of Lauren and the relationship, and even made it a point to hang out with her regularly. I later found out that his parents even entertained the beautiful couple for an early Christmas celebration at their house; and the entire family (excluding me, the wife), under the ruse of a business trip, all celebrated New Years together in a Las Vegas night club as well! The story continues as an even more disgusting and unbelievable nightmare, but I'm sure you all get the point! I'm selling a collection of things I acquired throughout the relationship to purge the toxicity from my life and hopefully gain a little back from all that I lost. My loss, your gain! :)
